This page will contain the minutes of the BIA's last executive comittee meeting, along with the agenda of the upcoming meeting a few days prior to said meeting. Meetings are held every first Thursday of the month.

1		Opening : - Agenda. Prop. by L. Charlebois, supp. by M. Wilson. ADOPTED.
2		Pecuniary interests. - None.
3		Report on Feb. 8th, 2001 meeting. - Prop. by L. Charlebois, supp. by E. Mignault. ADOPTED.
4		Web Site Launch Evaluation. - Few people attended the launch (about twenty), but everything went very well. M. Michel Racine from FedNor was there. The secretary mentions having received a few complaints deriving from the fact the logo was designed by an out-of-town firm. The president explains the said firm (Capstone Communications Group) specializes in logo design for BIA organisations, and came highly recommended from all who used their services. Furthermore, the firm is very adept at designing web-compatible logos. The president also adds that more than 90% of the web site development costs were spent locally. The site itself was designed by the BIA intern Jean-Serge Bordeleau. A new computer and web-specific software were bought from the Université de Hearst. The photos were taken by Mr. Gilbert Boucher (Reflets Nordiques). The films were bought and developped at Nord-Est Printing. The project was also financed at more than 80% by FedNor.
5		Banners and Bags with new logo orders. - The sub-commitee will meet next week to finalize orders for bags and banners.
6		Web Site Improvement Sub-Committee.  André Plourde and Sylvie Pouliot will be contacted to ask their participation in this committee.
7		Follow-up to summer survey concerning Summer Festival and Sidewalk sale.  As per the survey, the Summer Festival will be held in mid-July. The SideWalk Sale, which is usually held in August, will be re-evaluated at the next meeting.
8		Presentationon ModElles Polar shirts by André Rhéaume (8:30).  Mr. Rhéaume exlains that he sells to companies and organizations. Mrs. Lucie Paquin explains the different qualities and thicknesses, along with the colors available, for the fabrics.
9		Other Subjects : - Will be added to the next meeting's agenda : Members' Annual Meeting; Scotia Loyalty Card; New members.
