Donation to Hearst
Carnival 2006.
- Sylvie O. informed members
that Radio CINN FM has already given a cheque to the winner of the contest
sponsored by the BIA and that they thought that the BIA would contribute
real money for the Carnival. They are now asking that the BIA issue
a cheque for their donation instead of BIA money. After discussion,
members agreed to issue a cheque to Radio CINN-FM in the amount of $500
for their donation to the Hearst Carnival contests, but that a letter be
sent with the cheque explaining that the BIA never contributes real money
in any of its donations and that all future donations will be done with
BIA money without exception. |

- Web Site - info on cost for
additional space: Thérèse presented a report detailing
the cost of additional space for the BIA web site in order to offer space

item will be reported to a future meeting.
- Sidewalk Sale - Thérèse

can be made at that time.
- Flower boxes: The amount

for the downtown area. Gérald will take care of ordering them.
Maintenance and watering could be done by the same person taking care of
trees. Quotes will be requested soon for this maintenance work. |
