Summer
Festival Activities - 12th, 13th and 14th of July, 2001.
- Valérie
Vachon, summer intern responsible for organizing the Festival, delinates
the activities that are confirmed and others that are still in the planning
stages. After discussions regarding publicity, it is recommended that Le
Nord publish yet again this year a special booklet to be distributed in
Le Nord and in the Weekender (assuming this last approves).
As
for the inflatables, insurances against injuries and vandalism will have
to be obtained.
As
the question of the storage and transport of the inflatables is brought
up, it is decided that these will be put down every night and stored in
Gerald Gaudreault's garage.
Other
suggestions :
- Valérie
asks if there are sufficient balloons;
-
The grass in front of businesses will have to be cut;
-
Plants will have to be planted in their containers in the Downtown;
-
The Maison Verte will be contacted as they have dealt with the Downtown
before. |
