1   Opening.

2   Report on May 30th and June 19th, 2002 meetings.

3   Correspondence.

4   Pecuniary interest.

- Nil.


5   Final schedule, revenues and expenses prevision and work schedule; 2002 Summer Festival.

- The festival coordinator presented the final schedule of activities, a list of students hired, a work schedule, and a revised budget for the 2002 Summer Festival.


6   Delegation to Council on July 22nd, 2002; RE: Hearst BIA 2002 Budget.

- The Municipality has asked the BIA to revise its 2002 Budget, following constraints imposed by the Municipality.  Council has accepted to meet the Hearst BIA President in delegation, concerning the new budget.  Unfortunately, the BIA has not received the information requested from the Municipality in May in order to prepare a new budget.  The delegation will take place on July 22nd.


7   Web page hits (as of July 8, 2002).

- The Secretary presented web page hits statistics showing a considerable increase in hits during the last months.


8   Hot dog stand downtown.

- Some executive members have received complaints from merchants and clients stating that the hot dog stand was blocking the sidewalk in front of the BIA kiosk at the parking entrance.

- Prop.: _________________, Supp.: E. Mignault; Request that the Municipality ask the owner of the hot dog stand to move the stand at a more convenient location and where it would not interfere with pedestrians. - Carried.


9   Other subjects.

- Sub-committee of the Hearst Ecomuseum grouping all organisations interested in the Hearst Heritage; subject postponed to next meeting.
