Revision
of the 2003 Budget.
- The
President presented an update of revenues and expenses versus the 2003
budget. The BIA seems to be in good financial situation. He
also presented a list of cheques from January to August 2003. |

Evaluation
of the 2003 Summer Festival and report on revenues and expenses.
- Even
if the secretary was absent, everything went well. Mike Wilson coordinated
the Festival with the help of other members of the Board. The President
presented a statement of revenues and expenses for the Festival.
The deficit for 2003 has increased slightly compared to 2002. |

Festival
de l'Original souvenir sale and report on revenues and expenses.
- Estelle
Mignault explains that this Festival was hard to coordinate and that expected
profits were not reached. She presented a statement of revenues and
expenses. It was suggested that lollipops be offered to downtown
merchants at $1 each for distribution on Halloweeen. |

Souvenir
sale with Paypal.
- CommunicAction
offered to add a page to the BIA web site where souvenirs from the Festival
de l'Orignal could be sold virtually. There is no additional fees
for the BIA. |

Christmas
Decorations.
- Gérald Gaudreau will visit
places where the Christmas tree is hung in order to see if it could be
raised to a safer height. |

Other Subjects.
- Purchase of 14 autumnal flags at
the cost of $600 is approved.
- Purchase of 1000 red plastic bags
to cover parking meters is approved.
- Mike Wilson is interested to attend
the OBIAA meeting that will be held in Timmins and will gather information
for this purpose. |
