Meetings
This
page will contain the minutes of the BIA's last executive committee meeting,
along with the agenda of the upcoming meeting a few days prior to said
meeting. Meetings are held every first Thursday of the month.
The
minutes of previous meetings will be available in the Archives
section of the site.

Economic Development Team: Special Event Workshop: Info.

Letters of resignation from Board members: Rosanne Gratton, Lorraine Charlebois
and Claudette Couture. Lorraine is moving her business out of the
BIA area and Claudette and Rosanne have sold their business.

Daniel Larochelle says that he is not available to attend Board meetings
and has indicated that he will resign his position.

Delegation.
- None. |

Santa
Claus Express.
- The
Santa Claus Express will be in Hearst on November 28th. Organization
is going well. Colette Fortin will be representing the BIA. |

Holiday
Calendar and budget 2004.
- Members revised the calendar which
will be distributed to downtown merchants and published in the "Magie de
Minuit" brochure on December 1st. Anticipated expenses for this promotion
are $2,600. |

Christmas
Decorations.
- All members are invited to a Bis'
on Sunday, November 14th at the airport hangar in order to prepare the
decorations. These decorations will be installed by the PUC the following
week. |

Contract - Manual Work.
- Following the publication of a
request for tender to do manual work downtown (i.e. remove and replace
benches and garbage cans, Christmas decorations, etc.), no quotes have
been received. The Secretary has submitted an offer from Logestion
at $22/hour with a helper at $10/hr. Members have accepted this offer. |

New members.
- Board members recommend
that the Municipal Council appoints Sylvie Otis and Sonia Bolduc as members
of the Hearst BIA. |
