- The
President would like that discussions be held to decide if the BIA should
hire someone to revise and keep the BIA webside up to date. Prop. G. Gaudreau,

Correspondence
- Letter from the Municipality on Free Parking.
- After
a lenthy discussion, it was proposed by: D. Larochelle, and Supported by:
M. Wilson - That the offer from the Municipality (Municipality Resolution
No. 514-01) stating that customers in the Downtown Area would have a period
of three months during which they will not have to deposit money in the
parking meters on Fridays and Satudays, be refused. ADOPTED UNANIMOUSLY.
- The
proposition will be accompanied by a letter from the President explaining
the reasons of this refusal from the Board. |

Budget
- Christmas Promotion.
- The
Secretary presented a list of expenses anticipated. |

Santa
Claus Express on December 2nd, 2001.
- Preparations
with the Chamber of Commerce are coming along well. Santa Claus and his
goblins are still to be confirmed. Rotary Club and Bank of Commerce both
contributed $1,000. |

Leaflets
on automobile windshields for Midnight Madness.
- One
BIA member suggested that advertisement be made at the Recreation Centre
during the Midnight Madness weekend. It was also suggested that leaflets
concerning the Midnight Madness be distributed at the Recreation Centre
during this said weekend. It was also suggested that a bus be arranged
departing from Mattice on the night of Friday night and that music be played
outside. Estelle and Francine are willing to organise activities with a
budget of not more than $600. |

Christmas
Decorations.
- One
BIA member suggested that the Christmas decoration at the corner of 9th
and Front Street be removed, as it is damaged. |
