Summer
Festival
Every
year, the downtown moves to the rhythm of the Summer Festival, the BIA's
biggest event. For three days, the main street (George St.) is closed.
Merchants spread their merchandise on the newly-available real estate and
people stroll about, shopping, enjoying a hot dog or preparing to attend
the now-famous Variety Show. The weather is usually very clement and the
atmosphere has got to be experienced. Many activities art part of this
huge event - games for kids, exhibitions of all kinds, an arts corner,
and many more. Best of all, consumers can enjoy incredible savings!

not allow as wide a roster of activities as the Summer Festival holds,
buut still allows activities spanning a great range of interests. All in
